It was great to know that Martin and Smita decided that Tenerife Scuba was their kinda place

So after a briefing, and a quick trip to the pool for Smita, it was a "hop skip and a jump" alright a 5 min car ride and a two min boat ride to "Maravilla" (Dive Site)

Jacintha had been telling her mother, who had never tried it before, just how good scuba diving was. So while here in Tenerife they decided that while here in Tenerife this should change.

As Pauline was a little nervous to the pool first for a practice and some skills then out to sea

40mins later having seen fish and octopus, blown bubbles and with the biggest silly grin Pauline said she know understands ....and wants to do more!

The Discover Scuba Diving course is a great course, in that not only do you learn some of the core scuba diving skills, but that you also get time to practice in our "heated swimming pool" prior to going out to sea.

If you are not that experienced in the water you get a chance to gain confidence and have fun.

So uncle and nephew Paul (already a diver)and Sam, and father and son Nasir and Husan venture, clad only in rubber into the Tenerife waters. Under the watchful gaze of "Super Lee" and yours truly.

Bull Rays or "Pteromylaeus bovinus" is a species of large stingray of the family Myliobatidae found around the coasts of Europe and Africa.

The Obispo, which means "Bishop" in spanish, is characterised by blue stripes running across the wings. The pictures here are from "The Wall at Palm Mar"

Four friends put on rubber and get wet and breath compresed air for their first time Scuba Diving in Tenerife...

Along with Scottish Allen Tony who joined the fun lurking in the background. This time we were diving at Westhaven Bay a sheltered dive site, some 4 mins from the harbour. Ideal for "Discover Scuba Dives" home to lots of Octopodes, Trumpet fish, shoals of sardine fry and occasionally Seahorses.
